Oracle nominates DWS for prestigious award
Oracle UK nominated DWS in the 'Consulting Excellence' category along with two other major UK consultancies. The announcement was made at the annual OPN day held at the Birmingham ICC this November 13th. DWS are very proud to be short listed for this prestigious award. It is a testament to our continued focus on delivering quality and value for money to our many customers. The awards ceremony will take place this February at a gala event hosted by Oracle.
DWS and Miller Group at the UKOUG 2006
DWS are co-presenting with our customer, Miller Group at this year's UKOUG at the ICC in Birmingham. We will be sharing our experience in upgrading from ERP8.0 to E8.11 (SP1). This will be an extremely informative session for anyone wanting to know more about the upgrade process, tips/techniques and lessons learnt in a major upgrade project. You will come away with a much better understanding of what preparation you need to put into place to upgrade to a higher target release.

DWS selected for 8.96 Beta Programme
DWS have been selected by Oracle to be part of the new 8.96 Tools Beta Programme. DWS has vast experience with the E1 Tool Set and can help Oracle to test the 8.96 beta release. We are communicating regularly with Oracle to provide feedback on the tools release.
Participating in this programme enables DWS to be one step ahead!
DWS & FormScape - a winning team!
The DWS and FormScape partnership goes from strength to strength. DWS have developed a set of connectors that allow the FormScape Covus product to communicate with the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne product. Recent Covus/Connector sales include Avon Cosmetics, TuffShed, Batesville Caskets, British Plaster Boards, Hanson US and Sungard to mention but a few.

DWS help States of Jersey Government upgrade to 8.10
The States of Jersey Government have been a customer of DWS for several years now. DWS were instructed by The States of Jersey to upgrade their modified system from Xe to the 8.10 release level. DWS and The States worked very closely together to deliver an upgraded system in tight timescales. This is what John Hamon, Applications Manager had to say after going live on 8.10:
"We've successfully upgraded to EnterpriseOne 8.10. DWS's continued support and prompt responses were a major factor in the success of the project."
DWS & Miller Homes - One of the first in country to go to 8.11 SP1
Miller Homes have been a long-standing customer of DWS who are currently live on the ERP8 release of EnterpriseOne. DWS were instructed by Miller Homes to upgrade their modified system to the 8.11 SP1 release level. We believe we are one of the first in the country to upgrade to this release level.
